A cleaner CSV. A clearer next step.
Remove duplicates, clear empty rows and trim stray spaces. Preview every rule before you download.
Start with your CSV
Drop one UTF-8 CSV or TSV file here. No fixed file-size limit.
Know what changes. Keep what matters.
Choose a file → inspect the report → select rules for an automatic preview → download a new file. Your original stays untouched.
Does my CSV leave my device?
File contents, filenames, headers and cells are not uploaded. Parsing, cleaning and download preparation happen in your browser. The production site collects limited usage analytics; see the privacy policy.
What counts as a duplicate?
Whole rows match exactly and case-sensitively, keeping the first occurrence in its original order. Choose columns to match by a key instead. Records with any blank or whitespace-only selected key are never deduplicated. When trimming is enabled, matching uses trimmed values. Blank records are excluded from duplicate detection.
What files are supported?
Accepts UTF-8 CSV/TSV, with or without BOM. No fixed limits on file size, records, columns, cells, field length or processing time. Actual capacity depends on your browser and available device memory; you can cancel processing. Previews show up to 100 records, 12 columns and 300 characters per value. Processing and export use the full data.
Are leading zeros and long numbers preserved?
Values are kept as text; dates and numbers are never inferred. CSV has no cell types, so Excel may still reinterpret values when opening the download. Import identifier columns as text. Export may normalize quoting and line endings; it does not preserve the original bytes.
Does spreadsheet formula protection change values?
Yes. Optional protection prefixes values starting with =, +, -, @, tab or carriage return with an apostrophe, including headers and negative numbers. It is off by default to preserve values. Review risks before opening untrusted data in a spreadsheet. This option cannot guarantee behavior in every spreadsheet application.
