Privacy policy

Media stays in your browser. Inlet collects limited usage analytics through Amplitude.

What happens to my files?

Media content is read, processed and prepared for download locally in your browser. Inlet does not upload your media files or filenames to its servers, model providers or analytics service. No account is required.

What usage data is collected?

On the production site, Amplitude records page visits, model and language selections, file selections, conversion clicks, processing results and downloads. Properties include page path, language, model, media type, detected format and MIME type, size buckets, output format, processing time and selected clip duration or frame rate. Media contents, filenames, URL query strings and raw error messages are excluded. Automatic capture, IP address tracking and session recording are disabled in our SDK configuration.

What is stored in my browser?

Inlet stores your language preference locally. The analytics SDK may store a pseudonymous device identifier and session information in browser storage to measure usage. Analytics requests go to Amplitude's US ingestion service. Hosting and analytics providers receive network requests and may process technical request data under their own policies; disabling IP tracking in the SDK does not mean a network request contains no IP address.
